Complete Streets: Pedestrian and Cyclist Safety Workshops
In 2025, we hosted three safety open houses for pedestrians and cyclists in Lander, Casper, and Cheyenne, with the support of WYDOT. We invited local experts in the community to share updates on active transportation projects and answer questions during the open house. We also collected data on where pedestrians and cyclists feel the safest and least safe, as well as the reasons behind these perceptions, and what type of infrastructure would make them feel the safest. An online survey was available for those who were unable to attend the in-person open houses.
How We Helped
Reports were compiled after the meetings to share the insights gathered with WYDOT, local decision-makers, and the public.
